WHAT DO WE MEAN BY SANDBLASTED GLASS?
Sandblasted glass is created by having sand fired at its surface at high speed. This creates a frosted effect, the opacity of which is determined during the production process. The glass pane can even be finely etched to create a myriad of decorative effects.
The process does weaken the glass slightly, so it's only suitable for certain applications.
SOME OF THE APPLICATIONS OF OUR OBSCURE GLASS UNITS:
- Its translucent effect makes it great as a privacy window or door
- Its frosted surface makes it ideal as anti-slip glass for a glass walkway
